I have always been drawn to the details.

The curve of an old doorway. A flower pressing against a garden gate. The atmosphere of a room. A beautifully designed book. The way light moves across a table in the late afternoon.

Long before I understood design as a profession, I understood it as a way of seeing.

I studied landscape architecture because I wanted to understand how places shape people. Along the way, I found myself equally captivated by interiors, fashion, photography, illustration, brand identities, and the objects that quietly fill our everyday lives. What connected them all was never a particular medium. It was the feeling they created.

Over time, that curiosity became a practice.

Today, through my way of seeing, what I call visual poetry, I create visual worlds shaped by observation, atmosphere, and story. They may emerge as a brand identity, an illustration, a photograph, a collection of objects, or a written reflection. Whatever the form, they begin with curiosity and a desire to uncover what makes something meaningful.

I have spent years working in libraries. I have collected books from cities I love, best read with a record on and a hot latte. I built my own studio with my own hands, in our home in San Diego, California. My work has been featured in Domino, Real Simple, and Apartment Therapy, and I have created work for Casetify, Madewell, and Anthropologie.
